Methana are beingdaily connected by bus to Trizina-Poros, Epidavrus, Nafplio, Argos.

 

If you are coming from Athens alone,by car ,you should follow the national road Athens - Corinth and turn at Isthmus to Epidavros. After Epidavros follow the road to Methana-Galata. You will go through the villages Kalloni, Metamorphosis, Taktikoupoli and finally arrive at the peninsula of Methana.

 

The road is a new one and offers an incredible view of the Golf of Epidavros and of the Peninsula of Methana.

By ship

 

The easiest and most comfortable way to travel to Methana is by the sea from Piraeus, from where there are daily ferries (Central Port of Piraeus)(Gate"Ε8"). The journey lasts only 2 hours and the ship usually doing this trip stops first at Aegina ,then Methana ,with Poros being the last destination.
